P.U.N.K. Girl EP - Sarah Records/K

Heavenly's seraphic vocalist Amelia Fleatcher often insists, in her quaint British way, that her band is "quite punk rock really". That's certainly disputable, but why argue when you can simply breathe a contented sign at Heavenly's chiming guitars and candy-floss harmonies? "P.U.N.K. Girl" is the title track of their new EP, and a love song to Riot Grrrrls that actually doesn't sound like Jan Jett. If it doesn't make you gentle sway your Mohawked head back and forth, you're probaly taking yourself too seriously.
